Combination of Greek Revival and Italianate elements; featuring Greek freize board and Italianate windows (4/4 double hung) with plain molding above. Side windows on second floor are smaller, square 2/1. The general feeling is simplicity. The one story wing to the east appears to be later, and features a large picture-type window with 8/1 double hung sash. 2 new porches alter the original appearance, but the wide segmental arches complement the basic design.
History and Significance:
Architecturally significant. Likely built by/for Edward Lingel who purchased the property in 1871. Property owned by Lingel family until 1930.
