History and Significance:
Built in 1881, owned by Emaline Koller, widow of the miller Josiah Koller. She sold it in 1896. Koller, at one time mayor of Napoleon, erected several substantial business blocks. One of the finest brick Italianate houses in Napoleon.
Description of Environment and Outbuildings:
Behind the main house there is a smaller brick house (219 W. Washington Street) which is now rented as a residence. It is probably the original barn or stable, built in 1884 by Mrs. Koller.
