The Dr. John Bloomfield Home & Carriage House Museum along with the Nathaniel Hartman Log Home will be open for a special community Christmas Open House this year! The event features period decorations, modern decor, food samples, demonstrations, tours, and more!

Start at the Nathaniel Hartman Log Home located at the Henry County Fairgrounds and experience Christmas during the 1850s and 60s in an original log home. The home will be decorated with a fresh cut Christmas tree, period garlands, a roaring hot fire, and delicious foods cooked the old fashion way. Once your stop is complete head to the Bloomfield Home!

When you arrive at the Dr. John Bloomfield Home take a tour of this original c. 1879 Victorian era home. Enjoy the bright lights of electricity, a beautiful dining room, and all the trappings of a Victorian era Christmas. Touring the homes in this order will allow you to experience the changes in architecture, culture, and more! Or if you want to travel back in time reverse the tour!
